Sundays are Lovely Feature

Oh my gosh! I am so overwhelmed right now! You my readers, my friends, are simply A-MAZING! I was very worried that I was going to have to pull together like 25 projects to help us reach our goal of 65 projects being linked up.... instead we now have 95 projects! This is blowing my mind! A HUGE thanks to Melissa the Sunshine Honeybee, who linked up many many projects! She is an example for all of us! It's been great to check out all of her projects! She is the perfect model of why I started this link party. I wanted a place for anyone to link up ANY project and while we're linking up projects we get inspiration from others!
So PLEASE DO NOT BE SHY! LINK UP AS MANY PROJECTS AS YOU WISH!!!!!!!

I love this card in particular because of the hexagon pattern!
The yellow color is gorgeous as well!
Melissa-please grab a feature button on the right side bar!

Seriously, Jen did you buy these?
I mean really, they are straight from Carter's aren't they? ;)
Look at these cute babies! They are the PERFECT models!

Lilly's Garden Party

My daughter had her first birthday and so of course it was an excuse for me to go all out and have a fun bash!
The theme was Lilly's Garden Party

For the table....
-I used astro turf as a tablecloth
-Lattice for the backdrop to hold pictures of Lilly for each month to see her growth throughout the year
-lanterns hung above the table
-pots held cake pops, ice cream, and the dirt pudding
-the banner in front you can find more info about here

This picture is a perfect representation of my son and how excited he was about the food on the table! He watched me all week get ready for the party and I kept saying "Not until Sunday"...so he was super happy that Sunday had finally arrived!

Food-

Dirt pudding in terra cotta pots.
I attached flowers to the top to make flower spoons!

Fun Flower Cake pops!

The cake had real pansies on it!

Lilly LOVED her cake! I'm glad it was such a big hit!

Fun for the Children-

When the children arrived at the door they received headbands (either flower headbands or butterfly headbands whichever they decided) or bug hats for the boys.
My son decided to take his off for the picture!  Darn!

The children planted seeds of their choosing.

They painted birdhouses

All in all, it was such a fun party! The birthday girl had a BLAST and that is most important!

Maybe a little too much fun? This party girl is pooped!

CWC Tiara or Crown project

Hello friends! I am happy to say that we are celebrating Cooking with Cricut 2 year Blogaversary! How fun!
There are prizes to be won and free graphics to be printed! So go take a look at all the fun right here.

The theme for today is to add a Tiara or Crown to your project.

You may remember in my last post, that I made monogram glasses for my mom for her birthday as one of her presents. You can check them out here. Well, this is the card that I made for her to go with the glasses and other goodies! I hope she likes everything!

To make this card I used the Once Upon a Princess Cart and cut the crown out at 1.5 inches!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Have a super day!

CWC Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Paper Crafting World and Cooking With Cricut’s Blogaversary Blog Hop!  Our Design Teams are so excited to bring you a two-day hop that focuses on projects honoring a second anniversary…..cloth, crystal and or glass.

We think you will be blown away by some of the super creative inspiration and interpretation of our designers. So be sure to come back both days as each day will be a different set of designers and projects!
PLUS, this hop is the kick off of our week long celebration! Each day for a whole week we will be brining your fabulous projects made by our designers and each day we will be giving away free vintage graphics, digital printables and or electronic cutting files! So you will want to make CWC-PCW  a daily stop for the next week!
You should have arrived here from visiting my very talented friend Court at Court's Craft Corner.  If you’ve joined us in mid-Hop and would like to check out all the other fantastic projects head on over to CWC-PCW   and start at the beginning.

I decided to make coffee glasses for the hop. I will be giving these glasses to my mom for her birthday..shhh...don't tell her! ha! She won't see this post probably until later so I'm not worried!

I used the Tie the Knot cartridge for the monogram. Cut at 2.0"
If you have never done glass etching before it is so fun and EASY! You must try! I will have a tutorial soon, so come back and visit me!
There are several prizes to be won so be sure to head over and join the fun at CWC-PCW
Thanks for stopping by!  I am your last stop on this hop! We would love for you to enter a project at our challenge which you can find here!

Have a SUPER day!

Smiles,

Jill

CWC Challenge #86 Card Outreach

This weeks challenge at Cooking with Cricut  is for a four year old boy named Brandon

I used Washi Tape to create the stripes.
I found the stars from the imagine's preset cuts...
added some shimmer to the stars
used some scrap yellow circles
(they were the centers from flowers
I made for my daughter's party,
I love it when I use scraps like that!)
Added the sentiment "You are Courageous"
That's all:)

The very talented Madison from our Design Team has a project called the I FEEL THE LOVE project where she selects a family or person in need each month and people create cards for them. This month is for this sweet little boy, Brandon.  You can find out more about Madison's project for Brandon here.

I hope everyone will come and join in the fun!

You just make a card for Brandon,
link it up to Cooking with Cricut,
and then also to Funky Cards.
Then mail the card to Madison.
You can find out more info

Have a super day!

Smiles,

Jill

Happy Birthday Emma!

Welcome to the Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows Blog Hop!!
If you just stopped by to check out my blog, be sure not to miss out on any of the inspiration or giveaways by hopping to all the blogs on the line up. You can start at the beginning here.

This blog hop is in celebration of Emma's birthday with just a little twist from a regular birthday blog hop. We are being inspired by the song written by Lesley Gore.

Since this is a birthday blog hop I thought that it would be appropriate to make something, birthday-ish. So, I made a birthday treat bag!

You may remember the St. Patrick's day treat bag I made here. It was so much fun that I had to make this for Emma's Birthday Blog Hop!

I used a white paper bag, cut the bottom off, and sewed all around the edges.
I used a hole punch and made two holes at the top of the bag.
I put a bunch of ribbon through the holes and made a bow.
I used the Cricut Imagine More Cartridge and stuck the image on the front.

Now it wouldn't be a Blog Hop without BLOG CANDY!!!!!!!!! I'm giving away.....
